My two new favourites

I came across Clarissa Labin whilst reading another blogger's post about knitted leggings (something I am trying to get hold of) and is a piece among many that she had included within her Fall 2010 collection. I can't say I was a huge fan of the prints and some of the brighter colours she had used but being intrigued with what I had seen I looked at her website. Now my wish list has grown to a wish book. Thick knit snoods, textured cardigans, quirky tees. Its hard not to think about pay day.

Besides that, another designer I came across was Fannie Schiavoni. Who has created a collection of beautiful accessories inspired by Medieval body armour from her Swedish hometown. The pieces totally speak for themselves, and include body jewellery and chain mail gloves. I absolutely adore some of her pieces, so unusual and innovative. She even creates each piece herself in her London studio. Talent through and through.

Vintage at Goodwood

My weekend was spent working at vintage at Goodwood with my university, a brand new festival dedicated to vintage and retro music, art, fashion, cars, bikes and everything else. My job was to photograph stylish festival goers so their pictures would be put on the wall opposite the entrance. When I wasn't snapping away my time was spent shopping in and out of the vintage boutiques, listening to the music at the various tents and stages and managed to grab a pair of tickets for the catwalk show George Lamb presented. Will I be going next year? Yes! Would I recommend you go next year? Yes!

Photos of the weekend documented below, enjoy...

Apologies for the lack of posting. My life has been insanely busy and slightly boring so far my summer has consisted of serving as a sales assistant within the retail industry. A career I now know I hope never to work in after my years at university. I thought I would share the preview cover of LOVE magazine due out on the 23rd August. Cover features the beautiful Rosie Huntington Whiteley, more covers to come!
