Lanvin for H&M

Lanvin for H&M comes to stores on November 2nd and kicking it all off is the companies fashion show that will be streamed online, showcasing the collection to the world. On the videos shown on the H&M website Alber Elbaz has given a clue as to what can be expected including tulle, t shirts, tuxedos and printed dresses in the collaborated collection. Can't wait!

LFW-Bernard Chandran

On the 18th September I dressed for Bernard Chandran's s/s 2011 show during fashion week. The call time was at 6am due to the show starting at 10am, so a pretty early start and while everything was being organised and the models were being preened I took a few snap shots of my surroundings. The collection was clearly very culturally inspired due to Bernard Chandran being a Malaysian designer. A lot of silk fabrics were used with delicate pieces and some statement pieces. Overall it was a very beautiful collection. Mr Hudson also performed on stage for the show so I managed to get a photograph of himself and the Bernard Chandran before I went on my way to Bricklane's music festival.

Jeremy Scott s/s 2011

Inspired by 'the cool girls of New York' Jeremy Scott's collection showed on the runways of NYFW. The tops were created by using thin silky polyester to act as a pretender of plastic, which then moved on to latex dresses, lingerie tops and biker chic skirts and jackets. Also included were sequin dresses and leather menswear pieces. My favourite items from the collection are shown below.

Ashish for Topshop

Yet again Ashish has collaborated with topshop to create a new collection of Parisian inspired tees and sweatshirt. Using french phrases such as 'Bonjoir' and 'Bon apetit' the designer has created six different designs to go on sale in-store and online.

When showing her face at the reopening of Chanel's Soho boutique, Abbey Lee Kershaw sported a platinum blonde up do. I'm a fan.
