FIRETRAP SHOW A/W 2010

Back in early January (I thought I should post it late rather than never) My friends and I were asked to work behind backstage for the Firetrap show to assist Alexis Knox. The set design was based on an asylum, the music Beautiful People' by Marylin Manson set the atmosphere for the urban/grunge styles that the models wore from the collection. It was a good day and the show went down well with everyone apparently. I'm glad it worked out well for us all and looked well set out for the show as everyone behind the scenes were running around trying to find odd socks, whilst putting the other one on the model that had to walk in 15 seconds. Breathe in through the nose out through the mouth. Everyone was grateful for the bar afterwards.

The day itself was absolutely amazing overall, images below, more to come!

WELLA STUDIOS HAIR SHOW

I was asked to do hair modelling at the Wella studio hair show on 18th January. I helped style the models and myself for the show using the theme '80s punk' which reflected the hair, make-up and music. It involved a lot of acid wash denim, ripped tights, lace and Doc Martins.

Hair: Angelo Vallilo
Make-Up: Jo Mackay @ MAC

The images taken backstage for the show are below:

STYLING - WHAT TRIBE ARE YOU?

I was set a brief to create a shoot. The brief was named 'What tribe are you?'. The idea was to style and photograph a shoot with the intention of showing a part of you within the images. Looking into family history, backgrounds and of course myself I used the subject of the police, due to my father and his side of the family being involved with that role, as my main influence.
It was shot in an old 1970s police station,Dartford, Kent.

Assistants: Danny Bourke and Emily field
